Full Throttle Relaunched!
For those of us who can remember the club in the nineties and noughties, Full Throttle was the name of our printed physical paper magazine.
It ran to over 130 editions!
Full Throttle has arisen in electronic form and will be published, posting on our website and sending it electronically to all members.
In the coming editions, we will be featuring member profiles, ride reports, long form articles about the club’s history, feature articles on related clubs, trivia, tech tips, bike reviews and articles of interest to the members in general.
The magazine will only improve with member input and we will be expecting contributions from everyone!
Run Reports, Profile, Past Blast
Welcome to the May edition of Full Throttle. This edition reports on the Link Run to Bayles, profiles our Club President, presents a couple of photos from the past and has an extensive ‘For Sale’ section with some interesting offerings.
It also includes a report on the assemblage of distinguished gentlemen.
It was reported at the last General Meeting that the Central Hotel has been sold and it’s unclear (as I write this) whether the new owners will welcome such an impressive gathering as ours or whether our meeting venue may soon need to change.
The next scheduled meeting on the 9th of June will take place as usual but beyond that it is foggy.

Anniversary, ‘Falls’, Photo Shoots
Where are all the distinguished gentlemen?
Welcome to the April edition of Full Throttle. This edition reports on
an historic Club milestone, the ‘Falls’ Club ride, invites members to
join the TOMCC team for the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride, profiles
Club member Yabba and presents a photo from the past.
The US/Iran war and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz have driven
up fuel prices, greatly impacted farmers and transport logistics, and
exploded demand for electric vehicles. Concurrently, Triumph has
reported its final testing results for its prototype TE-1

Under New Management
You don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone Nug Nug has come and gone, so has the World Superbikes, and so has our editor Handle.
I’m sure every member of the Club joins me in proffering heartfelt thanks for all the hard work he put in. Clearly, I have a great deal to live up to. Time will tell.
This edition will revisit Nug Nug briefly, to give a shout out to all who work so hard to make it happen, provide a report on the club ride to Wahalla via the twisty bits, and talk about nicknames (as an excuse to introduce myself).
It also includes the profile of a club member (Handle), and a new section called ‘A Blast From the Past’.

My last magazine as editor!
And what an edition to end on! The rally went off like robber’s dog
with a great ride, brilliant gymkhana and both Friday & Saturday
bands getting the punters up and dancing!
Then on February 20, 21 & 22 the World Superbikes rolled into Phillip Island. With Olly Baylis taking his first podium and he did it on a Triumph 675!
But it is with much regret that I must now leave the editors chair and move on.
I have nothing but confidence that our new editor in chief Brick will do an amazing job having already survived everything that could be thrown at him during the pre Nug Nug truck load.
It has been emotional.
